PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given to the legal voters of the Borough of Audubon, County of Camden that a Public Hearing will be held on the proposed budget for the 2010-2011 school year at the Audubon High School Auditorium, 350 Edgewood Avenue, Audubon, New Jersey on Wednesday March 31, 2010 at 8:15pm. The complete budget will be available foe examination by the public at the office of the secretary of the Board of Education, Audubon High School, 350 Edgewood Avenue, Audubon, New Jersey 08106. ACTION WILL BE TAKEN.
This Board of Education approved “tentative” budget is being presented for advertising prior to Executive County Superintendent approval. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Governing Body of the Borough of Audubon Park, that the following is a list of the meetings of the body for the year 2010. All such meetings shall be held at 7:00pm, upstairs in the library and are divided into categories of meetings, which formal action may be taken and at which no formal action may be taken.

    Solutions to Storm water pollution
    There are many things you can do to help storm water pollution. Limit your use of fertilizers and pesticides, properly dispose if hazardous products such as motor oil and gasoline, clean up after your pet, dispose of yard waste properly.     Trash Collection
    Trash is collected every Friday (unless there is a Holiday) and recycling is collected the first and third Thursday's of the month. Beginning in January 2010, you will no longer be able to put electronics out for trash without paying $10.00 per item. Although we are locked in with Audubon for five years - they have e-events - you set up a date for electronics to be collected in town and they will come and get them.     Tax Collector
    The Tax Collector will be at the Borough of Audubon Park, Second Floor, in the Library the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month from 9 AM until 12 PM to do the following forms: PD65 Senior Deduction Form, PTR (Property Tax Relief), and NJ Saver (Homestead) Rebate which we will file on-line. Please call the Borough Clerk's Office at 547-5236 and schedule an appointment between those times.

    PROPERTY TAX DEDUCTIONS

    The State of New Jersey, administered through the local municipal Assessor’s Office, makes available property tax deductions to qualifying property owners. Each deduction has specific qualifications and requires the filing of an application.

    Marriage License

    1. If you are divorced or your marriage was annulled, bring the divorce decree or the civil annulment document.
    2. Death certificate, if you spouse is deceased.
    3. A copy of your birth certificate, driver’s license or passport.
    4. Proof of your residency.
    5. Your social security number.
    6. A witness (18 years or older) who knows both the male and female applicants.
    7. Fee is $28.00. Checks should be made out to Borough of Audubon Park.
    8. If any documents are in a foreign language, they must be accompanied by a certified English translation.
    9. There is a 72 hour waiting period between the completion of the application with the Registrar and the issuance of the license.
